    Another NSR Green River TR.

Here's a few pics from my month on the Green.
I took a slight detour from my usuall 3 1/2 commute.
This is a shot of Spirit lake on the backside of the Unintas

Gratititious shot of dogs ready to float

This particular trip was a 5 boat camp over The group was Yates
    Petroleuom thu Western Rivers Flyfishing.
Swampers rolling down river to set camp.

Some Great Horned Owls on the cliffs

a shot of guide village away from camp
This nights discussion ; Better dub artist Linton Kewsi Johnson or King Tubby or Lee "Scratch" Perry.

The next morning I rowed across river and hiked up some cliffs
    for a group photo.

Looking back at Red Creek rapid.

No river TR would be complete w/out a few fish shots.
    Morty w/ a nice rainbow

Randy and a nice "b" section Brown

The river is now running 800 cfm over night and starting at 8:00 am the flows increase 400 cfm an hour to ~ 3000 cfm. Fishing is good early before flows increase especially on "B" section where it is possible to stay ahead of the flows.
On the "A" the increased flows tend to have an adverse affect on fishing till afternoon when flows stabilize and fish reposition.
Dry fly action has been good w/ a varity of terrestrial patterns Ie: Ciadia's, Crickets, Hoppers, Ants, and Beatles.
A 2 or so foot tungston beadhead or scud as a dropper under the dry has been productive.
Streamers in the morn and eve or under cloudy low light conditions excellent.
Will try and get a few pics from last weeks 7 day swamp trip up today or tommarrow after unpacking and cleaning camp gear.

I like the summer TR's. Nice to see all the shizz that goes down in the off season.

And certainly better than reading some of the other threads that have surfaced lately.

    A few more pics
Last weeks gig was 2 3day campovers as as swamper.
Swamping, while lacking some of the glory of guiding,
    is awsome.
Your responsibilities are, the setup and breakdown of camp,
    drinks, apps, dinner, and breakfast.
your days are free to be spent fishing, hiking, climbing or
    just chillin on the river.

High and dry drift boats a result of water release
    flucuations.

Guide KT's dog Groussey my camp companion and freind.

    Groussey taking flight.

My touring partner Pac man came up w/ the food for
the second group, for some fishing and a taste of
the swampers life. Thanks again bro.

    And a nice brown.

    A few white water pics.

A final shot of my pops w/ a nice rainbow fooled by a
    gray/olive size 18 scud.

Love this area. Hadn't been introduced to it until last year, but have went back and will continue to go back many times. Great pics and nice fish too. Lovin' the summer TR's!
