I'm just sayin' I grew up with a Louis Alcinder III and he wasn't a hoopster. He was pretty good at poppin' and lockin' though.

Woodsy: congrats on picking up Deron Williams. That kid is a gamer and definitely a Jerry Sloan type of player. If you can just get some offense out of the guards this year (plus a healthy Kirilenko) the Jazz might be making noise. Definitely a better team than the Lakers at least

    BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.!

Yeah, I like the Deron Williams pick. Interesting draft- Villenueva went pretty high, huh? And I thought everyone was down on the HS kid from Jersey, but he went high-

    BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.!

Most predictable pick, other than the first two, was May to the Cats after they had picked Felton with their first. Other than that, and keep in mind I don't follow this shit very closely, it seemed pretty wide-open to me. But then, I'm an NBA JONG.

He was a great pick up for us, and should make a huge impact. def Sloans type of player.

some trivia ( and wierd full circle of this thread)
last time the Jazz picked third the drafted Dominique Wilkens ( but dealt/sold him to the Hawks)

last time the Bucks picked a center with the first overall pick ( like they did with UT standout Bogut)
    his name was Lew.
    ( see above)
