110 brake is actually 118mm (measured with a caliper).

Can't say that I've had any issues like what you describe. Sounds crappy if they hook, though then just try to make a leap into the modern world of wider stance skiing
that is probably a 100mm brake, as they are stated width + 8 or so. They are def not narrower than stated.
Hello, has anyone faced issue visible in figure? The boot pushes the lever to open mode in every single kick turn. Boot is head kore 1.
Any ideas how to fix this? Ill give a call to local shop on monday. Any feedback/comments are welcome.

Does anyone make a riser plate for the toe of a shift? 5-8mm seems perfect.
Tried searching and couldn’t find anything (sorry if I missed it).
Second day out, first day touring, on new SHIFTS that were professionally mounted by a well regarded shop in park city. Skinning up for my second lap I go to flip down my riser and my entire brake plate falls off my ski [emoji15]. Was able to complete the day (thankfully since it was a great day in the Wasatch).
The brake plate has two little prongs that rest in the heel piece, one of which had broken, giving it enough room to totally fall out (pick below). Will be sending in for warranty, but curious - anyone else ever heard of this?
FWIW, I have two other skis with shifts that worked flawlessly all last season and take care of my gear - so maybe it’s just bad luck?

Random question here but I'm looking at switching out a set of Dynafit Rotation ST 12's with a pair of Shift MNC 13s for a nearly identical BSL. Anyone know if I'm going to run into conflict with the hole patterns and need to adjust the mount location forward or back on the ski?
Apologies if this has already been posted: do STH and shift mount patterns conflict? Looking to put some shifts on a ski currently mounted with STH 14s.
Powderguide has both templates. I can't find the link using my phone. Check the myofs thread, or maybe here:

The toes play nice. You'll reuse the rear toe holes from the STH mount, and the others all clear comfortably. ETA: this will move you forward 5mm.
The rear heel holes come a little close. Depending on your comfort level with proximity you might want to move the Shift heel back slightly and make up the difference with the heel track but you can definitely make it work.
This is assuming the same BSL.

Thanks guys. I might try and mount them back a bit vs reusing the toe holes. Ski is a 4frnt Hoji, usually I wouldn’t sweat .5cm but I find those designs to be pretty sensitive to mount point and I’d rather be behind the rec line than in front of it.
110 brakes seem most ideal (131-112-121 Dims), but I’m assuming 120s would work ok too? Scouting out buys and the 120s usually come at a discount. The blue solly shifts seem to be trading at a slight discount vs the other colorways.
The brakes run huge, I'd do 110s ideally. You could even do 100s with maybe a tiny bit of bending.
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. Looking to buy a lightly used (or new brand new) set with 110s if anyone is holding.
Imma kick the next fucker I hear say colorway right in the fucking nuts.
