Dynastar website is borked today, suspicious. Going to recklessly speculate that while updating the product pages the raw sexual energy of the LPReplacement overwhelmed their servers. Anyone know if the 2023 catalogue is inbound?
They’re counter tops…
I'm bummed on the graphics. While I like the current graphics, I was hoping for something new just to mix it up a bit.
Yeah, super creative just flipping the old graphic. [emoji849]
Pretty sure there's a post floating around about the process of creating the m-free graphics. If I'm not mistaken, one of the possible options on the graphic was very similar to what the 22/23 m-free is. I think it looks pretty sweet...

Pretty sure it went like this;
Bro, sick counter top!
Yeah bro, be super sick ski top sheet.
Br0! Absolutely!
Tada…..
from the design firm site kid-kapow linked (thanks!)
"no serious skier would be caught dead commenting on a ski’s graphics"
motherfucker I will comment as I see fit
and my comment is this, I'd give my left nut for one of those topsheets that swaps marble for wood grain
Anyone been on the Mpro 90? I just ordered some next year's 186 for next season when it's shitty and icy here in Whistler. Are they exactly the same as this year's?

Based on LWS' comments in the 22-23 Gear Rumors thread, it sounds like that line might be blurring.
"More info on the new Dynastar:
Same lengths as the Mfree108.
110mm waist on the 192 size, skinnier as the length goes down. Slightly wider waist width for more versatility in soft snow conditions at FWT venues.
Sounds like the ski is designed to charge as hard as the current LP105, still very damp and planted but also going to be more fun to ski in tight spots, easier to release when needed, etc due to more progressive shape and rocker profile. Basically trying to bring all the good qualities of the LP105 and the Mfree108 together in one super ski."
Any info on the M-Pro 85? I believe this years M-Pro 84 was just a rebadged Legend 84. Hopefully less taper and titanal rocketframe added to this to make a good option for the other end of the quiver?
I know marketing people say a lot of stupid shit, but how the hell can a firm that lives off creating packaging of a product - aka pure esthetics and branding - manage to write something some increadibly dumb and pretentious? I mean, god damn.
As for the one depicted above - how the play with glossy and matte finishes is rather appealing imho, looks great.
I have one day on my. Also, the weather and plans look like I will be on them again this Saturday.
I like them and had a lot of fun. I felt they had good edge hold, carved well, had good energy out of the turns. Happy being driven, but not punishing if just cruising. Felt good on, steep, afternoon softer sun warmed bumps; I haven’t had them on any other off-piste situations yet. I kinda felt like a kid again cruising on my poplar core Big Max circa 1997.
Pretty confident that my Bonafides (99) have become my rock skis. Well, maybe not until I get a M Pro 99.
"Let's be careful out there."
Good call by Dynastar to keep the overall theme constant IMO. Really Dynastar is rebuilding their brand identity around the new M series of skis and consumers on the mountain should be able to quickly recognize what they are looking at when they see a M-Pro or M-free. The changes keep it new but clearly recognizable.
