Sounds like the quiver I actually use.

187 Blizzard Bonafide (will likely be replacing)
192 LP105 (still need to mount)
    192 MFree 108
    191 Billy Goat

Everyone should find a way to Bandit's garage. It is truly a sight to behold. Most ski shops don't have that much stock.

Alright, you guys convinced me to mount them with demos so I can move the mount point a bit. I haven’t skied anything with this much camber in a very long time. Will see how long it takes me to get them figured out.

    Yup.

    And Yup.

I rode the mfree 108 at Silver today. That ski is so easy to ski. It almost feels like I'm cheating.

LPRs were a comically effective ride at Alpental last Friday, Juneuary corn demolishers, my word. What a gun of a ski. Ch2 runs get real short.

May have a buddy interested if you’d sell flat / price dependent. Hope all is well!

Yeah, they are pretty amazing on corn, something about the shape and the camber is so much damn fun.

I'd sell flat, priced to sell. I just ordered a new bike frame!

Sticker included and just had a fresh tune.

Have had a good 4 days on my Protos which I originally mounted at +3cm (-6.1cm).

Initially felt I was too far forward. Got bored so re-mounted them 1cm further back. Haha. I can tell.

    Protos below at +2cm (-7.1cm):

    The Dynastar Thread

    Hey,

Came to the TGR forums for more information on the Protos. I’ve been skiing Head A-Stars inbounds and looking for something similar but looser/more fun. Thought the Protos would be a good place to go. Anyone have experience with both these skis?

    Thanks!

Just getting into the Proto bandwagon.Found this on ebay a while ago and just getting it into the right conditions in CO now. My understanding is this is the 18/19 first-gen proto factory based on the top sheet. Is that correct?

Is this officially the "burlier" version that is sometimes mentioned? Vs. the malibu beach top sheet from what I believe is the 19/20 version and now the white marble 20/21 topsheet.

Trying to understand what exactly I'm skiing on here and bit confused by the history of the ski.

I would skim through this thread - you shouldn't have to go far to find some good info.

Shitty edge compression / sidewall failure on the beloved lp105's. Not even sure what I hit - didn't notice any significant impacts while skiing. Those sidewalls don't have much strength to them.

Anyways, (mostly) fixed up now. Big thanks to eluder for the tech support.

Skied them today. Those skis are so fucking good.

Well, this thread convinced me to pour a glass of the M-Free 108 Kool-Aid. Order placed (182s) and on their way, decent price right now at Corbett's. I hope they're as sweet as promised.

As an offering, his and hers Pro Riders listed near me, in the flatlands, which is kind of odd. Anyone want them?
