Any problems with the double ski bag and big ass PM Gear boots bag on the Santiago - Mendoza flight? LAN's website is a little unclear.

To travel from, to or via Canada, USA 2 pieces, 32 kg each

Other trips within South America 20 kg max.

I bought a pair of Scotts in Lenas. They cost about the same as in the USA, and the selection is small. Don't count on finding skis, bindings, or anything important.

Merlyn, I don't know what bus line but the Damajuana Hostel has mined lined up for me. You may be able to go there/ contact them for help. Their English, at least via email, is better than my Spanish.

Go to the main omnibus station- TAC has daily service from Mendoza to Las Lenas via San Rafael (one change of bus). Leaves at 6am each day. I think Andesmar and some other companies may do weekends, but TAC is the only company I know of that does daily service.

I've got a frequent flyer ticket on hold.... Arrive BA 9/2 depart 9/9 and get home 9/10. 9/11 - 9/30 leave for Spain and Morocco.

Can I get through my to-do list in one week? I've got 24hrs to decide.

Being in the same position last year with one week to plan everything. I went. The only thing that took more than a day and couldn't be done on the internet was getting insurance to cover any medical emergencies.

Likely extending our stay in Corbus #8 through 17Sep and should have at least 2 or 3 openings for 10Sep-17Sep, (two twins in private room and maybe one bunk)
