    This. I remember being exhausted some nights and still enjoying holding the little ones when they were fussing over something. Luckily my kids were all good sleepers for the most part though.

    being a new homeowner and finding out little things like the garage does indeed lock, the heat comes on quick, the neighbors are all chill, etc

    Bending rods makes everything in life alright. Catching craps on the fly is something I never thought I’d love doing.

    Grew up a Hawkeye and recently went back to visit the family and got on some crappie with the lady and her dad. Drinking Miller High Life on a boat in the middle of bfe Iowa felt pretty great. Well worth the 10+ hr drive spending time with the niece and nephew flipping rocks looking at mayfly nymphs and catching frogs.

    Seems like the key is putting down the tech every once in a while and getting out in the woods.
