Had a pretty epic day kooking around Alta Saturday... fun was had

After throwing the wifes birfday party on Saturday night... one hell of a BDAY gift from Ullr for her... decided to take my High West Hangover up to Argenta / Gods Sunday morning... managed to dry heave a couple times but managed to sweat it out on the uphill but was definitely sucking wind...

Got the goods tho... steep tree skiing is my jam...

March 3 -- skied around Alta with my 69 year old pops and his ski buddy who is basically an uncle and has been skiing with me since the start.

Feb 27 sunrise just for good measure

    Think I'm caught up.

Been loving the stoke this month! Appreciate those who bring it!

I find Smith's bakeries to be shit basically. Hit a real bakery or Harmon's bakery..Harmon's does it right.

What a difference a day makes

My buddy Doyle and I were less aggressive. We put in 2 more tracks after the 4 that were there before ours on the NE face of Lake Peak and then we put in 2 tracks after the none that were there before us in Dog Dish. Fantastic weather day, no wind, cool up high, and pretty good snow up high (but sun damaged below 9,000' or so).
This photo of ski tracks on Red Baldy that was in my post Monday night was taken Monday afternoon.

I went back to upper White Pine again Tuesday with a different ski buddy. There were a lot more tracks on Red Baldy when we arrived there late Tuesday morning (2nd and 3rd photo). I think we heard a helicopter heading in that direction as we exited Monday afternoon. Looks like a pretty big group went down the NW face (but only skied the lower part of it ???).

Alta cams look very moist at the bottom and snowing up top. Latest Collins plot data shows 1" new and 34*, top station temp is 32*. Snowing, but barely.

Thanks for the boots on the ground intel. Could be worse compared to earlier forecasts. So perhaps this cold front slides in without too much rain beforehand.
    Coming in hot tomorrow night.
