The easiest solution to Mr. Niederhauser's problem would be to vote him out of office.

If we can't do that lets give him a traffic light with a remote control or maybe build him a ramp that would take him over the traffic to the northbound side of the road.

Hey I'm sure the traffic shit pisses off tons of people that live in those surrounding LCC neighborhoods. Total inconvenience for some no question. The honcho can rattle the right cages though. I simply believe his toll road idea to be crap that won't fix the traffic issue one bit. I know I'd pay the "season" toll rate, so I'm one more car in that same morning lineup on closure days. Until we figure how to get people up, avie control or not, this problem will persist.

Skied solitude all day today. Was sunny warm and little to no wind. While I prefer it cold and deep, I wasn’t at work today so that’s good. Honeycomb was decent and getting crusted. The strong March sun is taking its toll.
I be in town two more upcoming weekends for turns and while it’s the wasatch and I won’t rule out a powder day here or there, I’m kind of mentally prepared for Springs turns. Sign had 202”for the season at solitude which is just sad.

I have heard a lot of people mention that it might be worth it this year because they feel like they got screwed on the start of the season. Not super logical but have heard this from multiple people on the chairlift.

If you're new to the scene their season pass for next season became available today (Snowbird), and it includes skiing for the rest of this season. Nother bonus is if you buy your next season's pass now the Cliff Lodge free room deal goes from 3-10-18 (tomorrow) to 11-30-18. That may be enough for me to buy soon, that Cliff Lodge room could come in handy in case we get another big weekend storm this season.

Damn, they are pumping it early this year. Not sure if I can bring myself to drop the money in March though.

This super early pass deals seem to smack of desperation of cash flow issues from bad seasons through the west. I can understand early bird rates in early summer, but when you basically 7-8 months away from next season it’s odd.

Messaged Snowbird about the spring pass for myself and my dad -

Yes Scott the March pass is $579 and the April pass goes on sell April first and is $419. Look forward to seeing you here at the Bird soon!

I am happy with that - makes everything far cheaper than last year. Will just top up when going to Alta.
