Talking Spyder Venom House Team - MD9

Hey, congrats meatdrink! Look at all the Ooootah kids! See anybody else on that list?

    2004 Venom House Team Picked

    BOULDER, CO, December 1, 2003--
Spyder Active Sports has chosen its second annual Venom House Team, a group of freeskiers who receive a product sponsorship from the brand. Promoted on www.spyder.com, in ski retail shops, and in freeski media, Spyder invited applicants to propose sponsorship on the Venom House Team. Over two hundred resumes, letters, videos, CD-ROMs, photographs, and even a floppy disk came in to the Spyder offices. Spyder marketing staff and Freeskier Magazine editors read and watched the entries to determine the House Team roster. Team members will be outfitted in Venom freeride product to wear during the 2003/2004 season. The team's purpose: represent freeskiing's best regional athletes while wearing Venom.

    The 2004 House Team is:
    Jared Allen - Denver, CO
    Molly Ambrogi-Yanson - Pittsford, NY
    Jesse Ambrogi-Yanson - Pittsford, NY
    Ben Anderson - Negaunee, MI
Adam Barker - Salt Lake City, UT
    Tyler Barnes- Comstock Park, MI
    Aaryn Briggs - Steamboat, CO
Julian Carr - Salt Lake City, UT
    Sean Carey - Truckee, CA
Jon Cyrulik - Copper Mountain, CO
    Kevin Czahor - Steamboat, CO
    B Devine - Truckee, CA
Matthew Farris - Olympic Valley, CA
    James Hasselbeck - Burlington, VT
Seth Hill - Park City, UT
    Matt Niederhauser - Bellingham, WA
Pete Proos - Salt Lake City, UT
    Fritz VanDeMark - Boulder, CO
    Etienne Verreault - Whistler, BC
    Rob Walter - Lafayette, CA
    Matt Webb - Champion, PA

Spyder will again request applications for House Team sponsorship in the fall of 2004 for the 2005 season. Congratulations to the team!

So, between the two of you, you'll be getting enough free clothes to kit out all the maggots. Now that's a result

Nice work fellas, seriously. They seem like pretty good rags too.

Nice work, MD9. When do we see the Lawndart limited edition range with built in back protector and bacon detailing?

Awesome job MD, I sent in stuff, oh well. by the way, fritz vanDeMark, sick skier, look for him to be noticed soon, was close to qualifiying for the xgames last year, but at the breack comp he messed his knee a little, couldn't finish the comp. But again, congrats man.

    ha ha.

BB, I just about started a similar post congratulating you. So does this mean we can't ski together or we'll look like we picked our clothes to match?

I'm really surprised they liked my floppy disk that much.

Maybe I'll post the video sometime. It's mostly pics and footy you've all seen before.

yeah but it's the editing, the music and the look that makes it a worthy rerun. not to mention the classic one liners

Yeah, congrats my ass. Sell outs, EACH OF YA!

    --Jealous rant over

We were skiing with Md9 when he gets the call from spyder telling him he made it. Nothing like watching a guy go large, ski better than ya, then get spancered as he is riding the lift with ya to make you feel inadequate.

--hey, Meatdrink, you left your promo cd at my place how should I get it back to you??

Don't worry about it. We tried to get it out of your DVD player, but couldn't get it to work. (Might have been my hungover brain not functioning correctly.) I can burn em all I want.
