Zack and I hiked up the ridgeline towards the NF of Oddesey this morning. Got up to the top and had a nice snack on the peak.
Skiied a nice dog leg left couloir with a tiny ammount of downclimbing and alot of exposure. Quite a nice way for the solstice. Got to the bottom after the face expanded into the snow apron. Hiked the ridge back to the river and forded the river back to the highway.
Good times and another great day off. Work tomorrow. pray for me
About 2500 to 3000 feet or so of vert
A shot of the area in winter, the line is directly under the cornice in the saddle. With a lot less snow right now so it forms the actual couloir.
