KD, as Californicated as Bend has become I am sure she will feel right at home! As for me, Dana Point was lost when the harbor was built, killing such classic's as the Bone Yard. Shit, you can even drive on into Trestles Now! Where is the thrill in that?

I'll back you on the Harbor. Would have loved to have been able to surf the Killer Dana right I see pictures of all around here. But Trestles is still about a half-mile hoof (can't imagine how crowded it would be if you could drive there). Are you thinking Salt Creek?

(factoid: the boys in the office only hire lookers. movin one down would only be indicative of exceptional hotness)

Guess I heard wrong. We used to paddle over from San Onofre or when we were feeling bold we made our way through the bush to the beach. I had been told by a friend who still lives down there that trestles was open to the public now. Maybe he just meant you can be on the beach without being busted for tresspassing on gov. property.

Ah, yes. It has been a long times since you've been here, hasn't it? It's open to the public, but you can't drive to the beach. There is a paved path that goes through the bush, but it's for foot, skate, and bike traffic only (so I'm able to get a pull down from my brother Napolean). There's talk of extending a toll road from the inland empire that would likely double the amount of people down there.
