Went to T-Line this morning with the wife and her friend to get the friend her Spring Pass. Holy Horde!!! We decided to bail entirely and try again tomorrow morning (not that it will be much better, but back in my Ski Patrol days Saturday’s were always more crowded than Sundays). Parking lot was almost full before 8:00am and the level of stupidity on display was astounding.

Anyone at meadows today? Was it crowded? Heading up tomorrow but it may be a late start with the wife and daylights saving time. I am worried about getting parked out now....

    Werd. Sweet shot.

My freshman year in HS a fellow ski team members dad got a very similar shot of me at what I'm almost positive is the same spot. I was all tucked up perfect on my K2 TNCs (still have em)

Anyhow he gave me a 8x10 of it in a frame. So what did I do? Gave it to my girlfriend of course.

I do have a shot from the run before but it sucked. It's right after takeoff so I'm still upright and from the side.

ID:	227671T-Line was much less crowded today. Skied from open till about 11:30a when the crowds increased. My first time on my skis since I blew out my Acromion joint in my shoulder 3-weeks ago or so (Grade 3 AC separation). Took it easy and lapped the Mile chair all morning.

    Thanks man!

Yeah, the AC joint is where the collar bone and the shoulder blade attach. I failed to land the cliff at the bottom of Molly’s about 3-weeks ago, when we got that first bit of fresh on top of the original 60” boilerplate. 11” wasn’t enough to soften that fall. Hurt like Hell for a couple weeks, doc says it’s not gonna “get any worse” so I figured let’s take it easy once it stops hurting so much... Found a brace on Amazon that helps/inspires confidence.

The 2 bones are supposed to be connected. Makes for a weird looking bump on my shoulder, makes it feel loose/unstable and weak. If it’s bothering me in August, I will have surgery to fix it.

oh, i call that my shoulder. i hope you avoid surgery and sorry you drove all the way up there for the shitshow yesterday. we have season passes so i just walked through it astounded and grateful. i lapped the singles line all day and maybe once waited more than 5 minutes.

also, for the shit that annoys me thread, it drives me insane that timberline normally has one guy working ski check, even during weekend lunch. plus, ski check is right in front of the exit from the lodge to the slopes so all the people going in for lunch and coming out to ski have to cut through the ski check line. the skicheck line was one of my longest waits of the day.

Ha, I just got a grade 2 separation of the AC. Got the bump too. Solidarity! You gonna have surgery?

Careful with Amazon brace. I didn't see any that actually helped AC, but maybe I didn't see em all. Doc laughed at the one I tried (and so did I, frankly).
