Merry Christmas! Cheers to all!!! Santa is watching so grab another beer or pour some rum in ur nog!!!!
Got a few hours left to cancel our Bend trip and it's looking more and more likely. As far as forecasts can be trusted, too many pineapples down there to spend money on hotels and such. Maybe once 2018 hits, this weather pattern will show a little more love (not that there haven't been a few good days so far).
what a bummer
While i would love to take runs with you and the family, in my opinion, better to save it till later. forecast does not look favorable thursday moving forward.

More snow for me to move down the hill.
Today at Timberline:
Due to a power outage, lifts are closed for the day 12/26/17. We plan to reopen again tomorrow for operations. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will post our next update tomorrow by 7am. All hotel amenities and restaurants are functioning as normal.
weird. the jeff flood cam shows people on the lift at 3:17pm today. did they shut down just for night skiing?
must have been night skiing then
Stuck to Skibowl yesterday. Having more fun at Multipor and the platter tow than I ever have.
this isn't looking too promising

yeah it will be game-time decision. i love stormy. the boy wants to be. mom is a definite no go. i was also looking at the big warming again.
Rained 8am then cleared at bachelor. Made it 2 1/2 hrs before the crack of nooners dog piled the lifts. It was sweet ice the kind that is marble top smooth. My rather large companion switched to carve skis since his ON3Pz weren't the ticket. Forecast doesn't look promising. Sharpen up those skinnies kids.
anybody know who and where?

Mt. Hood looks mild with potentially heavy rain below 7000 feet Thursday night.
It has been a long time, but kind of looks like Mt. Baker.
