The high pressure death ridge has lingered off & on during the Winter for decades. I would go as far as a permanent macro air mass shift due to the jet stream in our region.

I'll spend alittle more time Friday on pics and not shots of groomers. It's still thin so I've been on the pack. On a non-related ski item. Sold a pair of Dynafit-hokkaido new for 250.00 which I thought was a good deal. I get an email today and this turd asks when I'm going to send the skins.....would you like some bindings for those boards too. For christ sakes. No wonder I don't have any friends. Fuk. Rant over.
Here's a maggot in action. I'm going to hear about this.

Meadows at 810am. Should be snowing lightly all day and increasing into the pm. Tomorrow could be pretty good.

How’s the snow looking on Hood? Enough coverage to survive the ridge of death through the week and make a trip next weekend worth it?

Depends what "worth it" means. Resort should be able to stay open this time, but there's less coverage than 2 weeks ago.

I don't see any precip for nearly 2 weeks. Temps will be cool so the snowpack should survive. Coming to a mountain near you.

A glorious day at Mt B. The 5" that dropped since yesterday was feather light, Turns were Epic with occasional Orgasms...
for about 80 minutes, then the entire county showed up.
Still worth it given what's coming

Heard it was a Demolition Derby on Century. PUs on their lids, cars stuffed into snowbanks.

I left at 1045 when line at sky was back to tower two - on both sides.
Only one 'incident' but it was cleaned up when I went by. It was icy in shady spots - just like every other day.

    2017/2018 ofishul orygun thread

Blustery day at MHM. The cold kept the snow soft where deposited and edgeable where packed. Fun turns were had on the GS skis I got off iriponsnow.

First turns were in boot deep wind deposits in 4 Bowl...lol for a skinny ski!

Beware low tide; it is real

(Need repair tips — never gouged a ski to the point of needing a repair)

Noticed location and direction of base damage. I approve this destruction of ptex.
