This is probably the nicest car made. Built on the Panamera chassis with a PDK mated to a 650hp W12tt, this is the best all around vehicle money can buy. 0-60 in 3.1 seconds with a top speed of 208mph. Also holds 1g on the skid pad, so its an actual sports car. Grand touring.

The only cars that should exist with four doors are wagons. I accept suv's because without them we wouldn't have Suburbans (and Range Rovers ) but really, the rest shouldn't exist and this crossover/tall wagon shit is just purely unacceptable (don't look at the other two units in my driveway). I dunno, I guess we'll let sedans stay because otherwise people like my dad need cars and have some weird distaste for 2 door cars.

Now on THAT we are certainly all in agreement. When did that stupid trend start?

And a 5 door station wagon beats em all. Did you fuck your high school sweetheart in that cramped two door?

I had a 740 GLE (I think that's what it was) and ran that thing all over east coast ski country before moving out west. I never got it stuck, just had to pin it. I almost always had the back seat down and a blanket bed and pillows in the back. That would have been 92-94. Good winters out there.

I saw a new Volvo the other day and was totally impressed. They've come a long way since the 80's.

If it is your coupe, why would you ever get in the back? Can my 9yo suffer back there for a couple hours? Damn right.

^^Bingo. @raisingAZ - my high school coupe was a hatchback with a bit over 5' long flat area so there was plenty of room for shenanigans (and 4 pairs of skis).

Directly no but, if you read through Swedespeed you'd think they're the most faulty vehicles out there due to the Google OS.

Is that just an entertainment thing? Or does it actually affect the vehicle?

I don't pay too much attention because I'm not interested in one but I see a lot of people saying theirs is disabled or at least not fully functional. Try the XC60 owners group on FB, scroll through and see how many posts are Google OS related.

My buddy has the xc90 plugin hybrid. He bought it for his wife and kids, but he daily drives it now. It's super nice.

Same sitch here. Looking at the XC60 plug in, and the Audi Q5 plug in. The XC60 is wifey's first choice for the new grocery getter but I'm pushing hard for the V60 Polestar. It's not an RS6 Avant, but it's also about $50,000 less.

I’m really hoping to just keep driving my ‘07 Sonata into the ground for another year or more. Heading out to the garage now to re-tape one of the windows shut!

    Any mags still driving Volvos?
Our 2015 XC60 T6 is still going strong, but now at 180k, so feeling more pressure to have a younger car in rotation.
Drove a 2020 T6 (different engine than mine. This one had the inline 4 with supercharger), and noticeably less powerful than our V6 Turbo even with a ton of miles.
Drove the newer B5 & B6 (“mild hybrid”) and completely underwhelming. Starting to look like the T8 plug in hybrid might be our only good option for $10-15 more. Looking at BMW X3s now.

Buster and I have V70R's with higher miles. I am almost at 220k. Mine still runs great, but it tells me the passenger airbag may not work, to which my indie replied you do not want to pay for finding out why.

O and be sure to visit swedespeed.com to read up on all the models from the owners in the forums.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Maybe swap for a lower mile 15 or earlier XC60 T6or XC70 T6? You know you like it and there are quite a few with 100k or so available.
