Just got back from SKIING: TSR

and it was greatness.

Some new snow had fallen up high and the trails were hikeable with a nice smooth slush snow runout.

For the last two days off I went on 2500 to 2700 ft hikes. Today I was jonesing for some turns and I went to get them.

Everything about it was great from loading up the pack, to the weight of my skis and boots on my shoulders, to the first click into the skis.

HELLS YEAH I SAY!

Then to finally swing around on snow and push off, to pressure the cuffs and start turning into the fall line, and to zoom off the suncups into the air.

HELLS YEAH I SAY!

Finally at the bottom I was able to look back up at my graffiti, standing out against an overcast sky.

phew!
