    MPC #164 - Wood | 9/12/17 - 10/15/17

    I'm pretty sure happy feelings like this are illegal in 47 states. On to a new MPC!

    Topic = Wood
    Get your mind out of the gutter!
    We had "Forests" a couple MPCs ago and that got me thinking of this topic. I'm thinking of things made of wood, interesting uses of wood, or close-ups of the material itself.

    RULES:

    1. Photos must be taken within the time period of the contest.
    2. You may submit 3 photos during the competition.
    3. The contest moderator will choose 5 (or 6) photos to be voted on.
    4. The winner will get a happy feeling in his/her pants. (That is a rule by the way, not an option.)
    5. In the event of a tie, the contest moderator will have the deciding vote.
    6. Winner will be the contest starter/moderator for the next comp.
    7. The winner has 3 days to start a new contest or 2nd place becomes the new winner.
    8. And have fun.

    Voting thread is up.

    There were a lot of really good shots submitted of groups of trees. However, I was looking more for close-ups of the material or uses of wood. So please don't be offended if I didn't choose your shot.

    Nice deck! I need to replace the deck boards on mine as well. Sorry I didn't choose this shot. I thought about it hard since it is along the lines of what I was looking for in the MPC topic. However, there is just to much going on in this shot that feels like a distraction from the interesting angle and wood grain pattern you can see in the stairs.
