Sounds like he’s another vet casualty that got his mind fucked and doing evil shit is the consequence. Getting him medicated and in an institution will probably be a worse torture when he realizes what he’s done. My guess is he’s already taken himself out

Not just a vet, a homeless vet living out of his truck. IMHO, the loud call from the powers to support the vets is cover for the fact that we really don't.

How that guy had unsupervised visitation when he was living out of his truck is beyond me but the mom thought he wasn't a threat so if she was okay with it not much any one could have done.

    Sad. Sad. Sad.

The guy that slapped his 4-5 year old daughter in the face so loudly I could hear it across the restaurant this evening.

We are on a cross country road trip. I started to get up and my wife pleaded with me to not ruin the trip by getting arrested. I wanted to slap him into next week.

seems to me like a call to law enforcement would be warranted if the manager did not 'ask' them to leave -

( at the same time, you did not "see" anything, so I am not sure that the police could do anything- )

But I would sure try to get a camera on that guy -
physical abuse of a child really isn't acceptable behavior in my world.

    wishing you a Safe trip
( That's the 'other thing' in my world >. A guy like that may be armed, and for about the last ten years, I have tried to Remember, I don't want to get shot for trying to correct the behavior of another. )

But if a child was struck, I would be inclined to call law enforcement.
( a lot of people who will strike a child believe they have the right to do so, and will acknowledge having struck the child. )

Agreed. Sounds like a mandatory reporting incident if seen by a teacher, etc. I’m not opposed to slapping a kid but that sounds pretty out of line for the description. Agreed that the chances of the guy being armed would make me think twice about intervening

Didn't we just know Koberger did it? You could see it in his crazy eyes.

^ I’d guess that his attorneys knew the jury would have seen it too. “Plea bargain, Bryan.”

I heard him make his deal in court on TV. Chilling voice.

Can you just imagine what his parents are going through? I wonder how long they've known he was guilty.

I worked with Gary Rodgeway's SIL and she was in full and total denial that he was indeed the Green River Killer. He finally told her he did it during as live telephone call when she was telling him "we will keep fighting until the end Gary" to which he replied " I did it. I'm guilty."
