    FS: Heart Rate Monitor

    Sports Instruments ECG5 monitors with chest strap. Works great & look like new.
    Features: clock/watch, stopwatch (48lap), alarm, time in training zone (with training zone memory), backlight.
    owners manual missing but the SI website has them available in PDF format

    $25 shipped in lower 48, were >$100 when new

    do they show time or timer (stopwatch or countdown) and HR at the same time?

    Yes, they show HRM & time/stopwatch display simultaneously.
    $25 in US lower 48 states, $30 to canada

    How long have you used it? I've heard things about spotty reliability and failing after a year. Also the screen scratches easily. What shape is the screen in?

    hrm

    After about 3 - 4 yrs buttons got gunked up, just had the cases replaced so they look almost like new.
    For $25 what are you worried about?

    Cause I dont want to buy a HRM that wont work after a week.
