    Resole glue

What the best glue for resoling climbing shoes?

I never had good results with contact cement. Even for tubes I just use goop glue. Yes, I follow the instructions...

The Barge contact cement that comes with C4 resoling kits seems to be a bit different. You actually let it fully dry then reheat it with a heat gun, then clamp. Does it actually work better than shoe goop?

Shoe Goo works pretty well. I've used it on my Asolo boots a couple of times and it's held well. The real trick is getting the surfaces nice and clean and making sure you use plenty of the glue on it and put pressure on it for 24 hours to cure.

Second for shoe goo and the suggest instruction above. I've gotten extra life out of many a skate shoe and even repaired some rain boots with it. Does the trick

Barge is just a brand of contact cement

i would make sure you got the right stuff for redoing climbing shoes and you are using it correctly

And I would post this in the climbing section
