I mounted my pair of 192s at -1. They were super pivoty and loose in pow. I think -1.5 or -2 would be fine. I ended up selling the 192s because I wanted to bump up to the 196s.

How big are you, what size boots? And where do you ski?

Ever feel like you were pitched forward at all in deep stuff, or couldn't drive the tips like you wanted?

    5'10" 200#s

    26.5 boot

Ski in Washington. Home mountain is White Pass, which is short steep pitches (mini golfing) and gladed trees.

I never felt pitched forward on them. I just couldn't drive the tips. Whenever I got forward on they'd submarine and get buried. It's such an easy ski to ski, I figured that the 196 would be no problem to take meadow skipping.

No way. I also love short skis. These will measure 185cm which isnt TOO short, not even close. Easier to spin and jib. New daily drivers..

Will put up a review in November

I went #4 flex with the Heavy Core, it should be a "playful charger" for me.

Got a line on these stiff 193 mvps, thinking of mounting for touring, wondering how they might feel on hardpack/mountaineering? I've used dynastar xxls and cochise for a while, end up skiing alot of big mountain runs

The new MVPs showed up today. Very happy with how the veneer/artwork combo turned out. This is the birch veneer.

Wow! Was leaving the clouds out a special ($$$) request, or is this how the standard silkscreen renders on veneer?

I don't blame you for being concerned. Digitaldeath could track you down and try and sell you a timeshare in the Poconos.

Is the right hand ski upside down or are the graphics back to front on that ski?!

No special requests, this is just how the silkscreen turned out. Gritter you're correct the right ski is upside down, was wondering if anyone would catch that. I was trying to show the difference in color between the tip and the tail. Looks good with both skis pointed the correct way too, just wasn't working well with the lighting.

Super psyched on these skis, #3 flex was exactly what I wanted. Slightly softer than my Gunsmokes, lighter, and a snappier flex. These are my 3rd pair of Praxis and I was still blown away at the quality of the finish. Keith is da man, bow down.

Here they are right side up

9D8 with birdseye - the camera brightened them a bit, they are a little more understated in person.

Those are beautiful. I would feel bad about beating up such pretty skis.

Thats what the pics are for. Actually based upon my older hard-ridden praxis, I am not worried about damaging them while skiing, its actually drilling for the bindings that defaces them more!
