Wait a tic, Does Keith customize rocker profiles as well? Can he add or subtract rocker/camber??

If so, that just opened up the flood gates of choices for me to decide on next year.

I’m wondering if he gave my skinny Q’s a little extra rocker up front, because I told him I specifically wanted a K2 marksman replacement..

Mine look like they can definitely butter around! Whereas some of the other Quixotes look to have a bit more camber..

Would be cool if he did that!

Im probably just misinterpreting the pictures though..

A skinny Q mapC veneer with ccr would probably be a great daily touring ski

I haven't asked Keith about this, but if you read back a few pages someone says they asked for their GPOs to have no camber, aka flat. I presume it's an option then that no one knows about?

Prolly not. The 189 RX seems like a better choice since I don't really need anything over 190 at my size. But really, I'd probably prefer something with RES (or maybe the Q) if it's over 115 mm underfoot.

But this possible flat camber option could makes me even more interested in the 189 RX -10 for touring.

I recon in anything 3d for 10cm or more, then flat camber is better than better than full rocker and better than camber.

There was an option to choose ccr vs rcr on custom GPOs during the late April/may sale 2- 3 years back or so...

Keith uses different sidewall colors depending on ski length.

    These are my skinny Q

And here are the tips of a regular Q

Am I seeing things, or do mine have just a bit more tip rocker? Seems like 5-10cm extra..

Measure the rocker length! the 188 Standard Quixote is supposed to have 43cm (height 6cm) of tip rocker and 31 cm of tail rocker (height 3cm) with 114 cm of camber.

The pic of the standard you posted looks almost like the tail rocker?

    Its this pic.. definitely tips

Using my iphone as a measurer, I am seeing somewhere around 55cm of tip rocker on mine. I am going to get a tape measurer right now, so Ill report back with the exact number.
