Redington Vice

Anyone cast a Redington Vice yet? If you're in the market for a fast action, cheap rod you should.

I recently broke my 8wt and 6wt in the span of a few days and needed something with some backbone for streamer and carp fishing. While dropping those rods off for warranty, I grabbed an 8wt Redington Vice. $199 new. I've had it out for a few days of carp fishing and throwing streamers with a heavy sink tip and am super impressed with it. I definitely prefer it to the Vapen 8wt that is out for warranty, pretty sure when it comes back the Vice is going to stay in the quiver as the carp/salt rod and the Vapen will be for sale. The Vice is much more stout than the Vapen without being a total broomstick. It may not have quite as nice of a real seat or other hardware but I don't really give a sh#t about that stuff.
