I had a pair of the 177 beasts that i really liked and ended up losing one in fernie. I'm moving to Bellingham next year and am looking for a replacment and am considering the 183 gotama. One thing i liked about the beast was that it seemed to just pivot kind of easily in the middle but was still pretty stable at speed. I was wondering if the gotama has that feel to it at all, if you've skied the beast you probaly know what i mean better than i can explain it.
Thanks
Spencer
by the way the reason i might not get beasts again is becasue i want something wider/more durable

Stiff Bros in a 180 is what you need, if you can wait...if not then the current Bros in Soft, they are more durable than Gotamas. Gotama's arn't to stable ast speed on hard sno, but if you are skiing Baker that shouldn't be a regulare issue. Another option might be a cheap pair of 180 CMH's (wider and a world more durable than the beast, just you may have to work to turn) until Bro's exist in a 180.
