Paid gig bringing a restored 1972 Douglas 32 to Southwest Harbor. About a 30 hour trip at 6 knots. Was able to bring my wife and teen along which is nice. Teen is excited for their first standing watch overnight while underway.

Funny, my family has had a place in New Harbor since the late ‘60’s. Uncle still lives there… nice spot. Should be to Monhegan at dawn.

Boothbay (its neither a booth, nor a bay. discuss.) It's done and gotten fancy too, though some of it remains unchanged from 30 years ago when I started going up there.

plus, if you're there, head to Damariscotta for a few hours and stop at https://www.gliddenpoint.com/ on the way.

And singlecross, I'm blanking on those 2 lights. which ones are they?

First is the Entrance to Tenants Harbor (made famous by Jamie Wyeth “Isis at Sea”) and the second is the Western Entrance to Muscle Ridge Channel. Owls Head light is on the Eastern end of Muscle Ridge.
