    New girls are Lakeshore Eggers. They're a sex linked easter egg chicken, supposed to be cold hardy, and they look like mutts.

    We'll see how they do, we've never had this variety before but got a good price on 8 week old pullets.

    80+ degrees on opening day for memorial day weekend and the beach is empty. This is surreal.
