Sucked for my friend lol he lost an idol that night.

Timing is crucial, at least at the og one here in SF. But there is an awful lot of hype these days, so I guess expectations could be high. Places like that are best when you don’t have high expectations or knowledge beforehand.

An interesting bit of Seattle history here. This is the home plate location of Sick's Stadium, which is now the site of a Lowe's. Sick's was home to the Seattle Rainiers of the PCL for many years, and then the home of the Seattle Pilots for their one and only season in 1969. The Pilots went bankrupt and the team was purchased by Bud Selig and moved to Milwaukee to become the Brewers in 1970.

I had heard that the site was now a Lowe's but really had no reason to go there until last night. My wife needed a certain stain for a project she's working on and this Lowe's was the only store around she could find that had what she needed in stock. Luckily I remembered the story about this being the location of the stadium or else I never would have even thought twice about this strange batter cutout and home plate right outside the store entrance.

Huh, I remember the Seattle Pilots but never knew what became of them. Also amusing the dog & coke sign for $4.99 vs. Costco $1.50 with free refills, not that I've had one in forever,

are those HHI low country pics? we were there a couple wks ago. Lovely as usual.
Here’s a funny view we had of a “wedding”getting set-up on the beach close to us. we were a bit perplexed with their choice of location and direction of the set up. and andrew noticed there was more cameras than “guests”
Turns out they were filming a Lifetime movie. we had fun guessing what the terrible title would be

I’ve been at the fam place in Palmetto Dunes on island for a bit and have been in Palmetto Bluff for the last week. Had to come back to reality Monday at least for a couple weeks.

Honestly, I had no idea what it was when it appeared. Two of us were like wtf is that? The third knew and told us. It is weird. I don't have an opinion yet.
