Haha, all this smoke. My friends left yesterday for The Gorge for a concert, telling me they were looking forward to going to a music venue that might be as good as red rocks.

Got a picture from them 2 hours ago of the Gorge and you literally can not see anything.

Was hiking A-Basin today and got buzzed by two F16s. So fucking awesome - they dropped from like 15,000' down past me at 12,000' to like 11,000', and pulled up and over Loveland Pass by a few hundred feet, while spinning and doing a 4G negative dive, while giving the finger.

    So cool.

Being able to just dance with mountaintops in a machine like that just might be more fun than skiing the raddest deepest line of your life.

That a bummer. Want to get to a show there sometime. Well, the seafood will still be good even if the see-everything else sucks.

Those guys were definitely having a blast. I've never been so close to one outside of an airshow. Fuck they are loud! I'm kicking myself for not videoing it but they came out of nowhere!

Judging from the shows I've seen there the snapper is excellent.

On a ridgeline last weekend in the Glacier Peak Wilderness, I just about jumped out of my shoes when an F-18 ripped right by, just below the ridge. Watched him dance around in the peaks, just fucking around, going inverted and pulling hard turns in the valley etc. Fkn cool, but I wish they wouldn't do that in the wilderness.

    Couple questions though:

Pic 1: who locks old people up like that? Is this common?

Can you translate the Eagle-US Flag-Eagle pic?

You should talk to the man proudly displaying his shot up turtle shells. Shit ain't cool.
if countries like the u.s. work to destabilize your country, and oil companies and banana companies (and of course prior historical assholes) fuck your country up the ass, extracting and exporting massive wealth and polluting the fuck out of everything and expanding widespread poverty, environmental concerns are hard to cultivate.

the turtle might have died for food, not sport.

the signs are more or less "luxury on the road," referring to the truck, and "the friend who never fails," referring to jesus.

the bars on the windows are everywhere in the country, to prevent break-ins. many exterior cement walls around properties are covered with large shards of broken glass and other disincentives.

i talk with everybody i take pictures of and frequently pay them something small or buy whatever they're selling for their images. these are just shitty cell phone pictures.

the man in the wheelchair who lost his leg is not nearly as old as he looks and two of his three sons have died already.

    Cool pic FA!

My local brewery. 4 roadies just walked in and one dude wearing his helmet walking all around. I asked if he rode here [emoji33] . No I didn't, but I wanted to.

    I lost 2-1

Cool stuff like I said, Wyeaster. So is the US flag pic a slam or pro on the US? Sorry still confused.

    Not quick enough.

A few people feel the rain. Most people just get wet.
