My parents had a Chevy Corvair back in the day (long before I was around). Great horror stories.
Hm, let's see: insulation caught fire and flames shot out of the defogger vents. Rear engine car, and he said 1 day you could hear the cable that went from the clutch pedal to the actual clutch go TWANG and snap.
Idk, they had a crappy Volvo and maybe even a Bug all back in the 60s and 70s. I could be confusing some of the stories with the Volvo pos, but I think those were both instances with the Chevy.
Chevys still aren't much better, imo!
My uncle drove my Grandpa's Town Car for very long time after he died. Like, literally about 15(?) years. Idk my gradpa died in about 89 and my uncle must have had a thing into the 2000s. What a yacht. Lolz.
Buddy of mine had a Chrysler K car. Mid 80's model I think. Total POS. Ended up catching fire and became a car-b-q one day in high school. A fitting end to that disgrace of a car.
This is was and shall always be the worst car ever made.

First car was a baby blue 1980 Buick Century. Wood paneling on the inside only. Was probably a nice car when it first came out. Total shitbox by the time I was done with it.
No love for the Chevy Vega? Or it's brother from another mother, the Ford Pinto?
I see hydraulic turtles.

Except Yugos were actually Italian technology - not that that's any better...
