    Look/Rossi 12 / 14 din bindings.Mixing them up?

    Ok.

I Could fetch a pair of 12din rossis for cheap.

Since my all other bindings are 14 din rossis/looks, how interchangeable
    are the bindings?
I mean, the forward pressure, real rail and housing is the same, springs are just stiffer?
    Or?

I mean you should be able to mount a 12din toe and 14 din heel?
    Right?

Reson for this is that i could change the 14 din heels to my (soon to come) new im.103 rig and put the 12din heels to my park skis.
Since in the park i dont run my dins higher than 10, unlike what i do
    off bounds, especially the heel.

    Umm.
    So, okay or nay?

Why mix the bindings when you have a full set of 12s? There won't be any problem, the only difference is the spring, which makes the 14s a touch heavier, but that is really it.

You can mix these binders, the heights etc are all the same, however no shop is going to touch that combo, you will have to mount them your self.

On my exploders, I currently have a Look ZR toe piece, and P14 heel peice, this combo, works awesome.

    Duuude.......read my post first!

I really dont want to unmount my park-skis for third time to take out the 14s, to
mount theese 12s for the 4th time?!
    Eh?

And MBS, we here in europe dont have the same things with the liabilities as you do there...
And i will get the12s mounted as a package, and then change the heels to 14s if
    and when it seems neccessary.
But thanks for the piece of mind, that is what i needed.

Duuuuuude, it sounds like you want to mix the toes and heels, and I was wondering why not just put the full pair of 12s on your park skis and the 14s on your im.103s.

Which you could do, I am sure. But I was just wondering why.

Laps - Read the fucking answer!

Meathelmet - yeah there are absolutely no worries changing the heelpieces over. You can just get the P12s mounted on the Monsters and just slide the heels off the tracks to swap them for the 14s. No difference other than the DIN spring.

It wouldn't be remounting them, it would just be like taking the bindings off and putting them back on. Some may argue that this would effect the screw hold, but if done properly it would work just fine.

No screw removal or remount needed - both the P14 and P12 use the same heel track. You simply back off the P12 heel, slide it out, slide the P14 heel in, and set foreward pressure.
