Yoho - President/VP col to Emerald Lake

Hi,

A few years ago a buddy and I hiked/scrambled the President/VP in Yoho. I remember looking down the backside of the Pres/VP col to Emerald lake and thinking it looked like a solid, if steep, bunch of turns. I’ve looked for ages for a TR or some information on skiing it and I can’t find anything. Obvious questions then are: (i) does it get done; (ii) if not, why not (I suspect the closed road makes for too long a hike in from Field + avy paths?); and (iii) if so, where can I find some Beta? If you’ve done it and have photos or stories, please share’em!

Here is a TR where the guy climbs up it, descends the President glacier, then climbs back up to Emerald Pass and down to Emerald lake to finish the day.
I know of a friend who has done it to finish off a Bow-Yoho traverse. I was able to pick out "crusty" and saw evidence of downclimbing from Facebook.

I'm sorry, all I have to offer up is this blurry picture taken from Emerald Peak in either January or Febraury a couple of years back.
