Not as nervous as Yankee fans.

once you get past kate upton's boyfriend, the Astros pitching can be beaten. keuchel looks to be back to form, but that's not definite.

if the Astros can run out to big leads, they may be a lock for the world series; but the old good pitching beats good hitting applies.

the Red Sox - Astros series should tell how far they can go. if the Astros runaway with it, Cleveland better look out.

Yankees would roll through a series over the Twins. One game....I’ll take those odds. Go Twins!

Feels like one of those games the Twins get into double digits. We will need it. Huge at bat coming here. Put up 5 in the first.

just nerves on an unexperienced pitcher, the Yankees can put up 3 in 9 innings easily.

really wished the twins could've pushed those last two across; a 5 run lead would probably be enough; hopefully the twins aren't done scoring; would really like to see the twins go farther.

    >>dammit, 3 all; those two LOBs for the twins hopefully are not the difference.

Santana sucks. 3 run lead won't hold up in that tiny ballpark.

So neither of these teams have anything close to an ace? Ain't ya supposed to start your ace in a wild card game? I thought the AL was where all the good pitchers were at. What do I know, honestly, I only watch the AL teams on the Cubs schedule. I think this is the only second or third Yankees game I've seen all year. The Cubs don't really have an ace either but wtf..."all hands on deck" shouldn't mean three pitchers in the first three innings.

Severino is a good young pitcher, he turned in the third or fourth best season in the AL but obviously he didn't have it tonight. Yankees wouldn't have done anything without the performance he turned in with Tanaka sucking, Pineda out the season, CC not being the CC of ten years ago.

This fucking game is harrowing, both of these teams want to win pretty badly!

    ETA: Robertson is so awesome.

Berrios may be the best pitcher in the park. Been great on the road, typically as a dog

He needs to log some innings here. Bullpen is thin after him.

On it's face it might appear that way, but a lot of thought went into it and after hearing the reasons I tend to agree with Tito.

Keep Cy Kluber on his normal rest (he has an insanely meticulous routine and regular rest only helps him).

Bauer is much better at home than on the road.

Cookie Carrasco is great on the road.

Bauer going first allows him to come out of the Pen if need be in Game 4.

Kluber can still go again if needed in game 5.

It's one series and they've got 3 guys going with 17, 18 and 18 wins respectively.

    I hope Tito is right.

Still sore about Joba's inability to remain focused under extreme duress?

It was crazy watching Chamberlain freak the fuck out that game while the pitcher formerly known as Fausto Carmona just let those Canadian Soldiers swarm all over his face without even blinking an eye.

To honestly answer your question though, I doubt it. From checking the weather it looks like some rain on Friday and it's been hot and dry there lately, which means little chance of a fall midge hatch on the Lake.
