    Baseball question:

Ball 4 across the plate and the catcher forgets the count as he sees the runner on first head down to second. He thinks he's stealing so he fires the ball to second but the 2B isn't there and the ball goes into the outfield.

Can the runner at second go on to take 3rd? It's a live ball isn't it, despite it being a walk?

Yes it's live. Ball 4 in the dirt to the backstop batter can run to second too

    Wooo!
you would think the tribe will start rolling, theyre handling the rangers and handled the Astros(who I think are overated and doing well because they play the west so much); I bet they pull away from the twins.

still love the jake, highly underated stadium.

Or maybe not. Has to be one of the most under-achieving Giants teams I've seen. They just can't seem to get it going.
Today was a fun game but they aren't going anywhere

However, I look fwd to hearing HwangBang! called on all his future dingers

Yankees break out on offense and Tanaka finally has 2 good starts in a row.

Unfortunately he's probably going back down on Friday when Nunez comes back.

Yankees are 12-17 since the start of June.

Red Sox are 18-11 over the same span.

Your stats are wrong, no way they won 12 games. Six tops.

I think the Sox were 18-12 in June and are 2-0 in July so far, but yeah. The gist of it is correct.

Yankees pitching is letting them down, big time.

Sox are a much better team and as partisan as I am I think that's a rational assessment. This Bosox team is good all the way up and down.

Mookie! You watching this kid? If you like baseball you should be.

Just need a third baseman. And the pitching hasn't been healthy yet this season. They'll likely only get better.

Got to see the Ms and the Royals last night. Safeco is a really nice ballpark to see a game in.

Got to watch future Red Sox third baseman Mike Moustakous hit a bomb.

Solid fireworks show after the game.

Ya think? I dunno. This time, Sandoval was legitimately sick. He actually looked semi-reasonable at times before he went out despite looking fatter every. single. game. Plus, Marrero is starting to figure it out at the plate maybe possibly perhaps... he certainly can field the position at least.

Brock looks like he's on the way back, and Jhonny Peralta can play the position too...not sure I'd throw more money at 3rd myself.

Yeah, I don't really know. Just regurgitating things Eck has said on TV.

Plus it's fun the yell "Moose!"

That was a great, all fathers of kids playing ball on their school teams should have them watch tape on him and let them know they are to play the same way; you have to play every play all the way.

Corey Kluber continues his Cy Young campaign.

He just set a club record tonight, passing the great Bob Feller to strike out 10 or more in 5 straight games.

And he was named AL pitcher of the month. Not bad.

They've been on a tear. These last 6 wins they've outscored opponents 53-18.
