However, they are good. And I like them more than I like the Yankees, so let's go 'Stros!

Maybe this had already been discussed, but why in the ever loving fuck do they have to do the strike zone overlay on fs1!? ESPN tried that shit years ago and no one fucking liked it. It makes every at-bat unwatchable. Save it for the replays, asshats. Fuck.

    What’d I do exactly?

[edit] as a former new yorker who played softball in Central Park with Puerto Rican friends, I’m actually cheering for the yankees

I kind of agree. It's something that's annoying, but shouldn't be...

But BL and Altuve are killing it tonight.

Great game, what a throw from left and altuve is on fire. Tomorrow’s game is a big one. I have lots of respect for all the teams the yanks have seen, hopefully they can squeeze out some more wins.

Bird took to long to get up to speed (IMO). Can anyone reach home plate with out a bounce anymore?

It’s usually faster to one-hop it to the plate, and it’s easier to give the catcher a nice bounce to catch. Some guys can get it all the way to the plate **cough** JBJ **cough** but most guys just airmail it or thrown a moon ball.

Didn’t see this play in particular though so maybe you’re talking about something else?

It's not the right move in the pros and they generally don't try for it. Maybe if the cut-off is out of position which is rare. If it's headed for the ground the cut-off guy will take it.

^^^ Maybe, but I don’t think so. If it’s no-hopped it’s too high for the cutoff man, so a lot of situational circumstances come into effect. Who’s throwing, cut off or not, etc. check this out, lots of one hops.
