Now I am going to my 10th post op week.
Now I can:
walk without the crutches (with a limp) on and off
do single leg press upto 40 kg
stand on my repaired knee
ride stationary bike upto 1 hr/day
My flex is c. 120 (thanks to biking)- this is an increase 20 deg. in last 1 week.
...and I do not thrust my knee yet. .my quads are weak and starts to tremble, still icing once a day, not sleeping more than 4-5 hrs/day...
A bit pissed up right now--I see the mountain in distance and cannot ride , ski or climb..it sucks.
Now walking without the crutches and brace, my limb is reduced. But still can feel the pressure in my knee, and still have the swelling..Manage to go up the stairs, going down a bit tricky, actually had a small crush landing when tried going down without holding the rails.. My flex is aroun 115-120 and no problem riding the stationary bike. Cannot sleep more than 3-4 hrs, my knee becomes pressured up..PT says I have to stretch it when I feel the pressure..single leg press 50 kg..
This coming monday, 4th of July, OSs are going to remove the wires, springs all th extra stuff they have installed in my knee..it will be a day surgery..
Walking without limp..
No pain..
MTBing- easy rides..spinning
No running yet..
Full weight bearing exercises..
Only right side of my knee feels abit stiff (suprizingly the side that was not damaged)..same side I have some entrapped fluid... (Anyone experienced this ??) but no sweat hopefully it will go away..
Did my first geological fieldwork 1 month ago....
Still some swelling..but nothing to bother..
Almost full flex and extension
..and looking for a proper brace for skiing and MTB rides.. Got a few hints from the Grimp center..
