Cubs Sox Series - woot! woot!

Cubs vs Red Sox - wow. If you are a baseball fan, you gotta love this. First time they have played ea. other since 1918! 3 game series @ Wrigley starting tomorrow, with a classic Fri afternoon game in the friendly confines, and concluding on Sun w/a night game on ESPN Sun Night BB.

Both teams sporting almost identical records: Cubs 31-27, Sox 32-27. Here's the projected starters for the series:

Fri, Jun 10 2:20 pm EDT G. Maddux vs. B. Arroyo
Sat, Jun 11 3:05 pm EDT C. Zambrano vs. W. Miller
Sun, Jun 12 8:05 pm EDT TBD (probably Glendon Rusch) vs. T. Wakefield

Should be a great series, I know Chi fans and players are pumped to be hosting the Red Sox. Play ball!

    Lets go Red Sox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!

I still can't believe the Sox got Matt Clement after the cubs decided to not re-sign him. He 6-1 I believe w/ Boston. I can't wait until Curt Schilling and Wade Miller get back for the DL.
Always charging it in honor of Flyin' Ryan Hawks.

i cried when they let clement go, but they couldn't afford to keep him, swallow sosa's contract to ship him outta town, sign nomar and aramas to new contracts, etc etc. so they let him go, and i +knew+ when he signed w/the sox he would have a big year. because he never got the run support over the last few yrs w/the cubs. it was crazy: seemed like every time he took the mound, we would get 7, 8 solid innings out of him, but never any runs when he was pitching. he got hosed. i am glad to see he is doing well w/the sox, he always seemed like a solid team-player kinda guy wen he was in chicago. the fans loved him, a bunch of idiots would sport those fake beards he was sporting last yr whenever he pitched....

If there was a Cubs-White Sox World Series, I genuinely think the city of Chicago would self-destruct. The venom of the interleague games is strong enough you can smell it in the air. To think of the hatred that would occur with a World Series on the line AND the impending dread of the shame to be felt by the losers of that series. It would be all or nothing. The city would rupture before first pitch.

listening to the game right now on mlb.com - but you gotta pay. mlb baned live free streams of games a few yrs ago

but, the mlb sub for every game every day is like $12, money well spent as cubs play many day games and i stream them when in the office - like right now, i am listening to my boys hammer bronson....
