Hey LA and Westside mag's, any of you have info about the current condition of the Sullivan Canyon trail in the Santa Monica Mountains? I imagine that it has got to be totally insane or all washed out from this years rain.

The whole canyon floods during heavy rains and that's a good thing because it takes out the access road that periodically gets bulldozed there. I bet there's some nice new single track going in.
They put in that road because there's a huge natural gas line running underneath the cyn. floor and the road's for maintenance purposes.Your dog just ate an avocado!

All I know is that the Backbone trail from Sunset up to the top is really thick and overgrown after all the rain. Haven't ridden the canyon in a while.
