    TR: 6/7 Jackson Hole 2" new

    Rolled into Jackson yesterday for a three day work boondoggle. 35 degrees and windy as hell. Hooked up with Teton Mountsin Bike Tours for a few hours of road riding overlooking the GRAND. I have been to JH three tiomes before, but have never been up north to see the mountain. Pretty gnarly spire. The bike ride for our gaper crew was pretty flat ride and no off-road, but great views. Minor hail storm and a few close encounters with some male buffalos, but otherwise uneventful. Stopped at Dornans for a few roadies and snacks then back to the comforts of the Snake River Lodge. Dinner was a 2oz buffalo filet (I'm not klidding), some good Argentine Malbec, and a few late night Snake River Lagers.

    Woke today a little foggy, looked out the window and it was dumping. June friggin 7th, and it was coming down hard. The trees about 1/3rd of the way up were covered with snow. What I would have given for one run off the top today!!

    Obligitory work meeting till noon this morning. The pass was closed so the fly fishing outiong on the Idaho side was cancelled. Damn, I was hoping to catch my first fish!!

    Went for a run this afternoon instead, then popped into the TGR office to say hi. A pretty big crew was assembled working on the next release "Tangerine Dream". Met Todd, Frozen and a few others. Talked shop a bit. Todd said that the trailer would be up tomorrow. Said they got some great stuff from Alaska and India and a few other spots. They were working on designing some new TGR gear and looked like new TGR logos.

    Nice office overlooking the mountain. Don't know how I would get any work done up there on a powder day. This town has such a good vibe.

    Tib, I'm in NorCal today, then back in Seattle tonight and off on a camping trip to the washington coast for a some quality beach time with the little ones this weekend.

    Aren't we due for a maggot happy hour?

    Frozen, good to meet you and the rest of the crew. I'm already working on putting together a group trip during the "real" snow season. Hopefully we can get a few runs in while I am there.

    <Jackson update>

    A buddy called to let me know skiing off the Tram into the Bowls in the OB (with skinning back to the Tram) has been good the last couple days....with the recent snow and all.

    Just updating the masses of the ski world
