Chamonix/La Grave - Early March

Finagled a work trip to Switzerland and France with time to ski in between.

Flying Seattle to Geneva on March 1 for two days of work. Tentative plan is La Grave over that weekend (March 4-5) to avoid the crowds then Chamonix on March 6-7. Vallée Blanche or whatever looks good.

Will be in Paris rest of the week then back to Cham for the weekend of March 11-12. Flying out of Geneva on March 13.

Anyone game?

My gf is going to be bouncing around between Cham and Verbier Feb 23 - Mar 10, I know she wants to do the Vallee at least. She's solo unless a Canadian buddy of hers can make the trip.

Crowds in La Grave...in a low snow year?

Phrasing wasn't clear: Go to La Grave over the weekend, as opposed to Cham, to avoid Cham's crowds. Then hit Cham on Mon-Tues when less crowded.
