    Weekend Shenanigans

Well, I couldn't ride much, due to some tweakage in my back, so I took a bunch of pictures. It sucked sitting around watching everyone jump and throw down, but at least I'll be good to go for Utah this week.

Anyways, enough talk, here's the goods.

    From the local DJ spot:

the next generation, already getting after it

    And his pops:

Then, it was on to the land of big bikes.

Funny thing about this one. Even though it doesn't look good, the kid brought the front down perfectly.

    Still going.....

And that's that. Fun times with a good group. Only downside was not getting to partake myself and stupid cloudy weather. Now that I'm fully jonesing to jump after watching this the last couple of days, I can't freaking wait to mix it up with the Utards.

Nice pics, CS. Speaking of next generation, there was a 13-year-old up at I-Street this weekend absolutely killing it. No footers, tailwhips, etc. Hitting the style, and hitting the big drop ('bout 10 feet) all on a P1. Apparently he's only been jumping a year or so and got the P1 after destroying his XC bike on the gulley gap (25'). Pretty incredible.

Nice shots! I like the from-the-tree angle and also the ones from behind that are framed on the top and bottom. Nice work!
    It's idomatic, beatch.
