Hey does anyone know how long WSD is in Moab for (as in - is she still there?)

We are on our way down for the weekend right now (spur of the moment thing). I have her cell & just left her a message but I don't know if she has good coverage there or not.

If I remember correctly. WSD, LPH, and Arty should be there through the weekend (but I may be wrong and they might be traveling back over the weekend).

yeah, but when you have a 13 hour drive you go when you can get a whole week off to make it worthwhile.

it was a great trip and great to finally ride with the AG's. (scary fast riders).

i got a skier's thumb while on LPS. It hurts. might mri it today to see how bad the ligament is damaged. i will definitely be out for a bit though.

we took some pics (not of the AG's they move too fast). which will prolly get posted over the next week. I seemed to gape every time arty set up to take a pic of me, oh well. got some good ones of arty and wsd. fun week.

Glad we could finally hook up with you guys, it was very fun riding with you.

LPH, hope that thumb recovers quickly. For those of you who are familiar with LPS, LPH really wrecked hard on the VERY nasty / steep decent after the rock gulley. We are lucky all he got was skiers thumb out of it. You guys all ripped and we really enjoyed your company, you need to come to Brian Head now.

We rode Amasa Back on Sunday before going home, always fun. The weather finally broke on Sunday (figures). The rain storm Saturday evening was impressive (Darin's tent was TOAST).

We need more Maggot gatherings in cool places like Moab in the summer, this weekend rocked. Thanks again.

What an amazing week! I'm already sinking into a deep depression being so far from Moab. Is it possible to get Moab withdrawal? If so, I have it.

The Altagirls once again ROCKED!!!! First of all, they are amazing hosts. So great to show us the goods, provide cold beers at the end of the trail, and to just generally be amazing Utah ambassadors.

Secondly, they are truly amazing riders. I should have known, having skiied with them, that a day with the Altagirls goes by very fast - literally. I honestly don't think I've ever ridden technical single track at the pace I did trying to keep up with them. It was GREAT! Just riding with them improved my riding, since I ended up just flying over obstacles rather than picking my way around them.

Oh, and in a classic "holy crap the world is small" moment - turns out I grew up in the same teeny tiny town as one of the AGs friends who rode with us that day. Bizarro.

The roadtrip out and back with lph and arty50 was great. I would just like to announce that I CRUSHED arty in "Name that Tune." There, I said it.

More to follow as pix get posted.
