    Bachelor IT Job

My good friend and fellow co-maggotworkerskigeekbum duck_the_rope is heading onto a most excellent adventure and thus we have a vacancy here at the Mt. Bachelor CIS department.

here is the cross post from cascadeclimbers.com:
    Details:
Computer IT Position Year round IT Engineer will report to the Manager of Resort Systems. This on-mountain position will be responsible for daily operations of our IP network, security, point of sale hardware and software. This position will support the IT department with network administration, support back office computer systems and helpdesk requests. Requires a minimum of an associates degree in Computer Science or Business Technology/IT and 2 years of related experience. 27-29k DOE. with benefit package. Send resumes to tcrawford*at*mtbachelor.com or apply on line at www.mtbachelor.com Questions? Call Tim at 541-693-0912. EEO/drug testing required.

    gapertimmy notes:
notice the 2 things bold faced above. working at a resort is not a career move one makes to climb the financial ladder... the lifestyle that goes along with working here is worth more than any benefit package ever. pre employment drug test is required, and we do have randoms as well.

one cool note, you get a month of in the summer (2 weeks paid, 2 weeks unpaid) on top of your 2 weeks of paid vacation... climbing or skiing trip!

the atmosphere here at bachelor and particularly in the CIS department are super chill, and skiing is of the most importance (ask duck_the_rope for further details)

contact me directly with any ?'s

This is the ski bum job you think of when you think of living the dream.

Timmay is the mang, hands down the chillest boss. He is the type who not only will let you ski til your sick of it, he will join you and show you how its done.

Bend rocks. And let's not forget the local Bend maggot crew that brought us all the esteemed Finger Mustache.

    Good times, good peeps.

    What POS?
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

What part of that was unclear?

edit: Wait, are you asking what POS system they are using? If so, my bad I guess, but you could have phrased it a lot more clearly my man.

I actually have two friends that work there. Eric Ciampa and Jeff Sample. You know them?

I nearly took a job at RTP last fall, seems like a pretty good group of people over there.
