Exclamation Some real quick gurus' advice needed ....

I need to decide 'til tomorrow morning GMT so I ask here for quick help.

I'm offered a used Scott G-Zero Pro Team Mtn. bike (full suspension with Z-Team Spring fork in the front, 2003 model, with more quality features on it) for around US$ 850. It's supposed to have been retailed back then for 3-4 times that amound and is - as far as I could see - in excellent shape.

Pull the trigger or not, what would you folks recommend?

    Thanks

Theres been barely any Scott mtbs in the US until this year, so I don't know how many responses you'll get from folks stateside.
I know Greg Herbold liked his, but he likes everything.

When I lived in Europe, Scott's were SWEEEEETTTTT! Never could afford one. They are coming back to the US now and make a very nice bike. If you get a deal, you can't go wrong.

Thanks, that's what I am thinking.

The frame including the high-end components on it was around 3000 Euros in retail two years ago, guess it's a steal not to be missed out.

I agree, my buddy raced DH on a Scott team issue back in the day, and it put my lenz sport to shame. I was really stoked when I saw they were importing them this year.

Good bikes, if its in good shape, it fits, and you like the way it rides, dooo it.
