Shipping a Kayak -- Sports Express

Just heard about this company the other day. I had a friend that used them to ship a boat and had good things to say about them. I just got a quote to ship a kayak from Vail to Missoula and it was $65. That is good shit.

Thanks for posting this link. I've been looking for a good way to ship kayaks. When I tried their free quote, though, it refused to believe that my zip code exists. I used a nearby zip code and got a reasonable sounding quote. The zip code snafu makes me a little uncomfortable. Has anyone had a bad experience with this outfit? Has anyone had a great experience with other shipping options?

    Thanks.

It's about $30 more expensive from the Seattle area than whatever I used to use... Pilot Air or something. But it's the same price from B'ham (1.5 hours north), so it makes it worthwhile for me I guess. Probably be shipping one out soon.
