Dude, get that shit fixed. There are some new-ish devices on the market that work really well and the recovery is nothing like rotator cuff surgery. A friend had the ZipTight fixation done last year and it worked out great. He spent minimal time in a sling, just a few days post-op IIRC.

Careful hiking for now, running is a few weeks off at least.
I pulled the DVO Topaz rear shock off my wife's bike to do an air seal service. Once I had the shock in my hand I went to pull up DVO's great service guide that I'd looked at before. Their website is down and all service guides are currently unavailable. I sure wish I'd figured that out before removing the shock!
Now I'm stuck watching some douchebag on YouTube ramble on about this crap.
Edit: Rant over. I called DVO and they emailed it to me.

I'd like to rant about the fuckin' rain. Again.![]()
Damn, we got lucky on our four day Denver adventure.
Forum Cross Pollinator, gratuitously strident
This exchange from 2010 spawned an automatic response for quite a few people I know.
“I wish it would stop raining.”
“Well, we need the moisture.”
“What are you, a fucking moisture expert?”
You did...
Complaining about it is easy. Fuckin' rain.![]()
This is brilliant. Now if I can just remember it...
Man... people in NuMex really seem grumpy. Why they always lookin' to fight??![]()
I have never run into the fights, and violence I experienced all the time in Northern New Mexico elsewhere. Growing up there, I thought it was normal. Since I left, I hope it is better. Certainly there are alot of new people there. People would throw down because someone looked at them the wrong way. I loved growing up and living there, but that state had human weirdness that other places didn't.
Look at the trouble Dean Cummins had in NM...
“Hey there. I’m a moisture expert”

However many are in a shit ton.
Sorry man, shoulder dislocations SUCK. Very painful and take forever to heal. Best part is once it happens once, unless you really build up the muscles, you're at increased risk of it happening again.
My first one happened also in a really weird fashion. I jumped a ditch and landed hard on flat. Somehow the shoulder dislocated downward - I never even came off the bike. My best guess was that leading up to it I'd had a few things happened that got the muscles super tight in weird ways, and that the shock of the landing caused the tight muscles to dislocate the shoulder.
^^ Always some quality rants from Yeti, especially around his Taos days!
Heard from S brand manager friend that they released a P4 27.5 dad cruiser DJ along w/ 20/24/26" wheel options. 27.5 DJ is kinda interesting idea especially as a 2nd/3rd bike, but wade over to the pinkbike comments. Wow, it's as if this existing was going to result in all dirt jumps everywhere to be ruined. Some pretty good rants going on over there, including how Velosolutions paved pump tracks are evil and ruining everything and that they're turning DJs into kid bikes (which they already are sized for) etc.
My only rant is damn it's full mid-atlantic hot/muggy summer this week! Every ride has been a complete sweat fest. Keeping it easy w/ some bike park & pump track sessions after work.
