Finding another perspective

For a brief moment I thought the 193 Confessions might be a little to long with a little to straight sidecut. Seeing them like this I'm like "Naahhh, they'll be just fine"

I had a set of those Atomic HV3 SL. Amazingly stiff ski, I realized how narrow they were underfoot when I took my first jump off Montana Snowbowl's Gelande jump and cased the knoll with them. I left matching 6" divots.

Great point, and thanks for the reminder. I owned a pair of that generation Atomics in a 205 SL. They're sitting in Larry's Boots "ski museum". That was an interesting period in slalom ski design.

My memory is of a stiff ski that didn't like to go out of the fall line. That's how they set world cup courses back then (late '80's).

It makes me feel like a weenie when I doubt myself by staying in the 182-185 range. NTTAWWT.
