He's going to take one look at my Bogner and Crossmax 10s and it'll be Le Chazelet for me.

What color is your Bogner? I want to coordinate my ensemble so we will be easily recognized as "Gaper Fest 2004" attendees.

Dude, all we've got to do is perform a beacon drill in the lift line with our Recco strips and he'll think we're pros.

Avies are flying, people are getting hurt! Please stay safe!

I think it would be safe to assume we would all be totally incapable of typing if we had... And the pub would be recording record profits...

Will any of you guys be around anywhere? I'm most likely just gonna do London-Madrid-Geneva-London and be based out of GVA for the ski trips to Cham/Verb.

Ah, Cairngorm. Bringin' back the memories. Skiing in the fog, constant mist combined with howling wind, trying out rails on rental gear (the fog came in handy for that: no one could see my bails).

    Good times.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and the Scottish skier is a hardy skier),

I just upped my insurance cover. It seemed like a good idea

Just got the transceiver back from repair, things are starting to come together for this trip. About to lay out all my gear on my bed even though I don't leave until Tuesday. Need to buy some skis. Feeling the stoke

If the visibility is grim and the avy danger off the scale on Sunday I might head up to Alpe d'Huez instead - at least I know my way around that mountain pretty well.

The trees from p2 to p1 are the place to be on a storm day....
they already had a good coverage(down to 1900m, the last 100 were ahm..."a bit tricky") when i was there for new year.

str8line was telling me to check out the trees in Serre Chevalier I think...he seemed to feel it was some of the best tree skiing in the Alps.

He's not wrong. There and the lower reaches of the La Plagne system probably offer the best in France. But here in Europe we don't like trees.
