I'm starting to get the impression that moose are the pigeons of the Tetons.

This guy was hanging around my backyard. Obviously someones pet, but I couldn't get close enough to read the tag on his collar.

I am jealous; we saw a lot of really cool things on a week long trip up the Rio Negro, but got skunked on giant river otters.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

After a day in the backcountry, we found this at the bottom of our skin track. Bunny's day did not end well, but a hawk had a nice lunch.

my neighborhood is lousy with them because we have a creek and many willows running through the area.
Another one in the yard this morning. Baxter barely cares anymore.

Saw that one yesterday too and I think we watched it 10 times. The way the first one is so curious about the flag. It’s not frequent that you have feelings of adorableness and terror at the same time lol

    That's fucking hilarious.
It took a few seconds, but when scale is altered, I can absolutely see that.

He's such a cool dog, I must say.

Tell me more about Baxter learning to not care.

Our meathead dog sees the same deer in our yard for the 80 millionth time and goes absolutely apeshit like he's never seen one before. Every fucking day..

If he's like our dog barking at the mail carrier it's the highlight of his day. Cleo always hated Sundays.

My sister in law's dog learned to be very jaded about moose since they're all over the place where they live in Jeremy Ranch:

And he's an incredibly dumb and aggro dog. There's hope for Baxter!

    Wildlife

This fella was working the office siding/soffits. There’s a pair living here. They roost in the cone drying shed, above the forklift. Had to call in the building services a couple times to patch their holes in the warehouse - they actually came into the building and set off the motion alarms.
