I gotta get up there mid-week this year. Took the boy to Cat two seasons ago and it was perfect for him. The instructor he got was really good with the 4 y/o set and bombing frontside laps without anyone there was really nice. Got a few inches of fresh too.
I still call it The Jake.

With the weird weather and drought that caused half the leaves to fall off before the recent monsoons and return of the humidity, it feels like Fall and Summer both just started.

Wow, that is a lot cooler than our 68 degree low.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. Trust me, I'm not worried about the Boy. He got to Crested Butte and Breck last year and had no issues (or fear) rising the ranks of the ski school and independently ripping frontside blues. He even enjoyed hanging in the ski shop for a few hours buying new boots the other weekend and chatting up the shop guys about what he wants to ski this year.
I'm very proud (obviously) and can't wait to see how he progresses this season.I still call it The Jake.
